College Football Player Props Picks: Week 7

We have a HUGE weekend of college football ahead of us tomorrow. This weekend, we will see two games between top-10 teams and six games between teams ranked in the AP Top 25.
The lights of the biggest games are when players make the biggest plays. These are the games which could shape the futures of both the players involved as well as their teams.
Here's some of the big time players I'm looking at this weekend for Week 7:
Jeremiah Smith Over 37.5 Longest Reception
There's no doubt about it. Jeremiah Smith not only is the best prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, but might end of being the 1st overall pick in the draft too (JD is doing his victory lap now...).
This weekend, Smith and the Buckeyes face off against fellow Top 5 Big Ten school Indiana at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. A win will be of the utmost importance as two loss this regular season could knock either of these teams out of Big Ten Championship game contention.
My dear friend and fellow gambler, Colby Marchio, would always tell me "PREVIOUS MEETING MEAN NOTHING!," BUT Jeremiah Smith torched the Hoosiers last year in the Big Ten Champ Game. He recorded eight catches for 144 yards and a 52-yard reception.
Smith has obviously continued his hot play being the top NFL Draft prospect. He's continued his ability of being a "big play threat" on any pass thrown his way. This season, he's caught at least one pass for 40+ yards in five of his six games.
The Hoosiers are a well coached team and a solid defense against the pass in 2026, but with that being said, they've still given up a pass of 40+ yards in two game this season.
The way I see it, Jeremiah Smith is the better, more evolved version of wide receiver KJ Duff, and if Duff can record a pass of 40+ yards against Indiana, Jeremiah Smith can do the same.
If it isn't obvious, I'd play this line all the way up to 39.5 if it changes by gametime.
KJ Duff Over 37.5 Longest Reception
Speaking of Rutgers' wide receiver KJ Duff, I also like him in the same exact spot of Jeremiah Smith this weekend,
Much like Smith, Duff also has caught at least one pass of 40+ yards in all but game this season. He's a deep threat target for the Scarlet Knights and any pass thrown in his direction.
This might sound strange, but I think I like Duff's prop more than I like Smith's prop. The only reason is Smith is playing a MUCH TOUGHER opponent this weekend. KJ Duff faced Maryland. who ranked 191st in college football when it comes to Longest Receptions.
The Terrapins have given up at least 38+ yards on a pass in four of their six games this season. However, in one of those four games, the 38+ yard reception was recorded by a running back and NOT a wide receiver.
However, that doesn't sway me in the slight from backing KJ Duff this weekend. He's a DUDE and will make his mark on this game for the Scarlet Knights in College Park, Maryland.
Isaac Brown Over 92.5 Rushing Yards
Isaac Brown has been an absolute beast over the past two games. After averaging around 49 rushing yards over his first four games, he ran for 125 and 235 yards in those last two games respectively.
Syracuse also hasn't been the best defensively against the run. Not only have opposing running backs hit this line in each of the Orange's last three games, but two of the running backs have rushed for over 100 yards.
Louisville is the heavy favorite in this game and could get out to a big lead in this game. If they do jump out to a sizable lead, then that would definitely help this prop as the Cardinals would definitely want to run time off the clock.
Drew Mestemaker Over 276.5 Pass Yds
Everyone was clowning on MY BOI Drew after Oklahoma State lost to Tulsa in Week 1. Since that game, what have I heard? CRICKETS!!!!
Drew Mestemaker is straight killing it with at least 300+ passing yards in every single games since Week 1. There's a high probability that he's my top ranked QB when I do my next NFL Big Board.
Yes, the Cowboys opponent this weekend is no joke. The Houston Cougars have played very well defensively against opposing quarterbacks. They've only allowed two quarterbacks to throw for at least 277 yards against them. However, there were two other games where the opposing quarterback had at least 250+ passing yards.
Drew Mestemaker is showing the world why his is HIM! This is a "faith in my guy" type of play. Houston is a strong defense, but Mestemaker is the type of player that can overcome great opponents.
