Water always finds it's balance. I had an ole coworker that use to say that all the time to me and it's stuck with me ever since, especially with my gambling.

Last week's picks for us were a prime example of this. We were terrible in Week 5 (1-2), but we went perfect in Week 6! Does this mean anything coming into this Sunday? No. It's also good to remember the great philosophical quote, "sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit."

Here's the games I'm focusing on this week:

Giants +10.5 (-112 MGM)

The JJ McCarthy Era in new York has officially began! I use "era" very loosely here because I think everybody and their grandmothers expect Jaxon Dart to be back and healthy next season. However, doesn't mean Giants fans still can't be excited for a new quarterback to show the fanbase what he's got. Will it be redemption for JJ or epic failure? We will see.

The Texans come into this Sunday's matchup a whole new team it seems from the one that started the 20206 season. They've won two straight games after starting 0-4 on the year. However, one only of the wins has been in blow out fashion.

Their win over the Titans was a 26-3 blow out, but their last week was a 3-point win over Jacksonville where they needed a last second field goal to seal the win. THat win against the Jaguars was also in London (take that for what it is).

I know we have a small sample of McCarthy playing for the Giants, but I just feel like the McCarthy led Giants are not as dismal as the Tennessee Titans. Harbaugh is a solid coach and the Giants will be ready to play. 10-points is a large line to cover and I'm feeling randy with the Giants and the points!

Packers ML (+165 MGM/Hard Rock/SCORE)

The Packers have been a different team since their home win over the then favored Chicago Bears. Green Bay is also riding a 3-game win streak into Detroit this Sunday. The Packers are also getting a big addition back to their team as running back Josh Jacobs will play this Sunday for the first time this season.

Many would expect Jacobs to give the Packers dismal rushing attack a boost. Since joining the Packers in 2024, Jacobs has seen success against the Dan Campbell's Lions teams. Green Bay is cooking and Jacobs should be able to help give them the boost they need.

As for Detroit, I like the Packers for a similar reason I liked the Chiefs last week. That reason being Lions head coach Dan Campbell's record following the Bye Week. Campbell is 2-2-1 in games following the team's bye week since becoming the Lions head coach in 2021.

If you rather take the spread at +3.5 for Green Bay as a safer play you can, but I'm going bold! Gimme the Packers to win outright!

Raiders +3.5 (-112 MGM)

So far in 2026, there's no team better against the spread than the Las Vegas Raiders. Overall, they are 5-1 ATS and 3-0 ATS at home (were this Sunday's game is taking place).

The Rams' season has been shockingly bad to say the least. Injuries have piled up especially at the wide receiver position. At the beginning of the season, wide receiver Puka Nacua missed games due to injury and now wide receiver Davante Adams is going to miss six to ten weeks after suffering a full hamstring rupture in last week's loss to the Cardinals.

Kirko Chains and the boys are feeling good this season and the vibes are high right now in Sin City. I expect the Rams to continue to struggle. If they win this weekend, I'm thinking it will most likely be by a field goal.

Gimme the hottest ATS in the league! Gimme the Black and Silver!
