Oh it's the most wonderful night of the year! Well, it's the most wonderful night for hockey fans tonight because THE FROZEN FRENZY IS BACK BABY!!!!!

Fans will be able to enjoy every single NHL in action tonight. First puck drop starting at 6 p.m. EST followed by puck drops every 15 minutes all the way until 9 p.m. EST. There's even three more night cap games between 9:45 p.m. EST and 11 p.m. EST. It's literal hockey heaven!

With sixteen games on the slate tonight, you all know I'm going to have plenty of action. Here's my picks for tonight's Frozen Frenzy slate:

Kraken ML (+102 Draft Kings/Ceasars)

SEA Projected Goalie: Philipp Grubauer (1-1-0, .917 SV%, 2.59 GAA)
PHI Projected Goalie: Dan Vladar (0-3-0, .857 SV%, 5.08 GAA)

What is in the water in Philly? Can we get a status check? No matter the sport, Philly teams have been losing since around September 26th. Obviously, this means the Flyers are still winless to start this NHL season.

It's hard to find sometime about the Flyers that's a positive or something they can build on going forward. The goalie play hasn't been fanatics which hurts, but the worst part of the team may be their defense. They been out shot by at least seventeen SOG in five of their seven games this season. The Senators are the only team on the Flyers schedule who didn't rack up at least 30 SOG against the Flyers.

The Kraken offense isn't as powerful as some of the teams the Flyers have played this season, but they are still having a solid start to their season. They are averaging 26 SOGs this season early on and have only notched at least 30 SOGs in one game (first games vs Flames).

This is a clear "the books don't respect them" game as it's clear the books aren't taking the Kraken seriously.

This a probably because three of the Kraken's four wins thus far are against the Flames and the Red Wings (1 combined win between the two teams). They are 1-2 in their other three game, losing to the Golden Knights and Oilers while beating the Capitals.

If the Flyers were on par with the ladder, then I'd be wary of the Kraken in this spot. The Kraken have been playing well and taking care of business against the "slow starting"/bad teams. I'll take the plus money from the books!

Ducks TTO 3.5 (+100 Hard Rock)

CAL Projected Goalie: Devin Cooley (0-2-0, .818 SV%, 5.01 GAA)

We have a "run it back" situation in Anaheim tonight! Just three days ago, these two teams played in Calgary where the Ducks put up 4 total goals on the Flames in their own barn.

Yes, Dustin Wolf was the goalie. Yes, Devin Cooley is the projected goalie for tonight. To quote one of the great personalities in MVP history Mr. Soapy Muffins..."DON'T MATTER!"

The Flames have given up at least four goals every game to start the season. The Ducks have also scored at least four goals in three of their five games to start their season. The Oilers and Panthers are the only two teams to hold the Ducks under four goals this season and the Flames are NOT on the same level as those two teams.

Give me the Ducks to score 4+ goals at home for the first time this season.

Oilers ML (-127 Ceasars)

EDM Projected Goalie: Devon Levi (3-0-0, .863 SV%, 3.35 GAA)
LAK Projected Goalie: Darcy Kuemper (0-2-1, .868 SV%, 4.03 GAA)

Eventually, the Kings will get a win and they will win more than a single game this season. Beside their first games of the season, they've had chances to win against the Sharks, Panthers, and Golden Knights.

Darcy Kuemper could be seen as a big reason why they have been in their last two games against Florida and Vegas. Despite facing 30+ SOGs in both games, both games finished as 2-1 losses.

The Oilers have been on a tear since dropping their opening games to the Canucks. They are averaging five goals per game during their four game win streak, but are 50-50 in "type of game" played. What I mean by that is: they've scored at least five goals in high offensive wins and they've also scored less than four goals in lower scoring/more defensive wins.

The Oilers have also been road warriors to start the season. Three of their five games to start the season have been road games and they are a perfect 3-0-0 on the road.

Devon Levi has also been solid in his three appearances this early season. I expect the Oilers defense to keep the Kings from scoring a ton tonight and the offense to put up at least 3 goals in a win.

Parlay Odds for this picks: +608 Hard Rock
